Scheduling

Lessons are held on the same day and time each week at a mutually agreeable time. There are typically four lessons scheduled per month on average.
-
No lessons when school is closed due to holidays, winter break, or spring break. Invoices are adjusted accordingly to account for time off. It is important that students have uninterrupted time off.
-
No lessons if school is closed due to inclement weather. A make-up lesson will be offered unless a missed lesson has already been accounted for. See make-up policy below.
-
The studio will be closed for two weeks during the summer.
Missed lessons
-
Always give as much notice as possible when you are going to miss a lesson in some form of writing such as an email or text message.
-
No call, no shows will not be credited or made up. You are paying for a specific time slot each week that is reserved for you.
Lesson Materials
-
All books, lesson materials, musical instruments, with the exception of piano, are the responsibility of the student. You will be given a list of books to purchase during your trial lesson. Plan on between $20-$30 for books.
Group Classes
-
When student availability and interest allow, we try to offer group classes once a month at no additional cost.
-
Class content will vary depending on the needs of the students.
-
Group classes are a time for students to participate in activities such as musical games, perform for each other, and gain exposure to various musical styles.
-
A one-hour group class will count as a 30-minute make-up credit.
